We are a financial company based in Amsterdam city center looking for a:

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Key member of the management team and is responsible for the management together with other Managers.
  • The Manager will make a significant contribution to the growth and development of the company.
  • The Manager will develop commercial and/or control and reporting tasks.
  • Fulfilment of the compliance issues to make sure they meet Bank of Holland’s requirements.
  • Submission of timely reports to shareholders and authorities.
  • Maximize commercial performance, effectively developing the agent network of the company and the sales in the existing and future branches.
  • Provide individual training and development plan for staff and agents
  • Supervise the employees and branch and agent network.
  • Collaboration in agent debt collection.
  • Represent the company in the day to day communications with the authorities, in particular with bank of Holland.
  • Ensure local and international legislation and company financial rules are respected.
  • Play your part in preserving the company’s good reputation.
  • Advise the company on how to apply rules and to monitor their correct implementation.
  • Manage company resources in order to achieve a profit.

Key skills and experience required to apply:

  • You have a Degree or equivalent in Finance/Business/Accountancy/Business Law.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working as manager either as at the commercial side or at the financial side.
  • You have management skills and experience and a sense of how to manage and organise a business so that it is profitable.
  • The ability to demonstrate commercial, visual, creative, project management and analytical skills.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • English native speaker or proficiency English knowledge.
  • Advance or intermediary level of Spanish and Dutch.
  • A financial background will be beneficial but not essential
  • The role may also involve some travelling in Holland and/or oversees.
  • You must be self motivated with the ability to work well on your own initiative and have the purpose to contribute to the success of the business.
  • Willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
  • You will have exemplary communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to development effective relationships with key banks and other financial companies.
  • IT skills: MS Office and Internet.
  • You are a self-starter, flexible, dynamic, organised, rigorous, meticulous, reliable and a team player.
  • You have a sense of responsibility and organisation, with a skill for managing priorities.
  • You understand the professional code of ethics.
